The building was built in the beginning of XX Century to be the City Hall. Forty two mayors had their offices there. After this time The Paranaense Museum worked there for a while.The building was restored by Sesc and Senac (during two years) and is now a place were the art is the goal- there are library, cultural and musical coffee, cinema, music studio and exposition room. It is consider the "guest room" of the city.
